Informational Seminars Interested in learning more about your bariatric surgical options? Atlanta Bariatrics doctors and staff present seminars approximately twice a month for interested individuals to learn more. Family/friends welcome and encouraged to attend. Contact us to reserve your spot at an upcoming seminar. Support Group The Atlanta Bariatrics support group is an open meeting usually held the first Wednesday of the month. The format usually includes a presentation by one of our staff or a guest speaker on a topic of interest to bariatric patients. After the presentation there is time for Question and Answers as well as open discussion. The support group is open to new and established patients, as well as those interested in learning more about bariatric surgery from those who have had a bariatric surgical procedure. Spouses/significant others/family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.
